I just saw a similar post, but I have the opposite situation. I'm 5'8" with a 32" inseam, and long arms. I wear a 34/35" sleeve on dress shirts. In fact, my arm span is about 6" longer than my height.
I'm currently riding a Ti Airborne Torch. It is a 56cm frame, but it has compact geometry, so the seat tube is under 50cm, and the top tube is 56cm. I have a short stem, 90mm, and long seat post, 400mm, and I have the seat post at the full extension. The bike feels a little long, but sometimes I feel like I would also like a higher saddle to get a little more extension out of my pedal stroke.
Is a compact frame the wrong fit for me?
