Well, whether this is true or not would depend entirely on what the name "Kestrel" means to you. As far as I can make out, the original Kestrel venture is, in fact, out of bidness.

This is the same I am hearing too. Kestrel is a dead bird. The facility may/may not stay in existence under the Fuji brand, but the Kestrel company is done. If there is a new line of frames coming out, that was probably planned before the buyout.
