Thanks, it is a total "sleeper" of a bike.. I know a lot of people cannot look past the "Mongoose" monicker but boiled down to its core, it is a light carbon race bike. As I posted on the threads, it is the same exact frame as the Kinesis KR-810 ridden by professional teams in UK.
The upgrades were unnecessary but just my preference and the original price of $1700 (including pedals, carbon cages and wireless computer) is hard to beat for a well made Taiwanese (not chinese) frame. The Sram Rival works well and is also very light. Cannot be happier for the value I got.
