Do lightweight butly tubes flat more than regular weight butyl tubes?

"Slamming on the brakes" transfers a lot of weight to the front wheel, but IMO, it's very unlikely to cause a pinch unless you also hit an edge.

No edge. I was pointed straight ahead. But... I was riding on Conti Supersonics with the lightest tubes I could find, and I was running substantially less that the 145 psi max pressure.

Awesome tires, btw, for racing only.

I've been using the Michelin Ultra Light tubes. I am not getting more frequent flats compared to standard weight butyl tubes. For my riding conditions, the stuff that gets through the tire has been sharp enough that it will puncture whatever tube is installed (heavy/light, butyl/latex etc.)
