I recently bent my 26” Araya CV7 wheel from overturning it and I’m in the process of getting a new rim or wheel. I don’t know much about what to get but what I know is it’s a 26x1.5 130-135mm 32 hole rim break Araya CV7 on an old specialized mountain/road bike. Some questions I have are assuming I should only get a rim, what are good things to look out for or what a good replacement rim is to get? Anything helps

First of all, are you sure it can't just be trued? It has to be fairly well damaged before you can't bring it back into shape with a spoke wrench. If you are talking about getting "only a rim" can we then assume you know how to build wheels? If you plan to buy a rim and then pay to have somebody else build the wheel, you probably would be ahead to just buy a wheel from a bike shop. Replacing this wheel like-for-like would be pretty cheap. And just curious, what exactly do you mean when you say you bent your wheel by "overturning it"? Can we assume a fairly serious crash?
