I am 6' 3" with a 35" inseam and am planning to buy my first road bike, a Windsor Knight from BD. I used competitive cyclists fit calculator and it is suggesting a CC of 57.6 to 61.0 (the range of competitive, eddy and french fits). The range for the TT lenght is coming out to 56.3 to 57.9 cms. I have been agonizing with these numbers not wanting to order from BD and then not getting the right fit. The data from BD is that the 60 cm frame has a CC of 55 cm and TT of 58.5. The 62 cm frame has a CC of 57 and TT 59.5. Could someone suggest which one would be a good fit.
Also the standover is 32.5" for the 60 frame and 33 for the 62 frame. As my inseam is 35 I feel that the 62 frame would be a good fit but the TT for that frame goes beyond the suggested range given by competitive's fit calculator.
I am in a dilemma having to make a choice between the two. Visiting several LBS did not help as none of them had a 62 that I could try out.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
