Divo is an Italian brand that is new the US market. They were on hand at the Sea Otter Classic showing their handmade carbon bikes that are made in Verona with tube-to-tube construction.

Divo is the brain child of former Giro D'Italia stage winner Pietro Caucchioli who explains the name of the company, "Divo is an italian word that means "a very important person". A VIP is how I want my clients feel when they ride our bikes."

This USA version is a limited run of 20 and runs $6100 for the frame, fork and seatpost kit.

Key to that VIP experience is the level of personalization that the rider can achieve when purchasing a Divo ST. The frame can be built up to your custom size and geometry specifications as well as to your custom paint scheme. The buyer can even specify what carbon layup schedule they would like to use. If you don't need the full custom options, there are 6 standard sizes to choose from (49cm, 51cm, 52cm, 54cm, 57cm, 59cm).

The build quality appears top notch and the spec options are all very high-end. The finish is very appealing and the angularity of the frames line add to the look of speed. Of course being custom and handmade in Italy, the Divo ST doesn't come cheap. Frame, fork and seatpost kits start at about $5300 and go up to about $6300.
