Hi,
I've been on a hunt for a bike but have a very limited budget. So I started looking at used bikes. I'm very much a beginner cyclist.
My LBS has a used 2006 Norco CRD FOUR that he is offering to me for $500 CDN (. I went online to Norco's website and it's MSRP is CDN$809. The spec are here: https://www.norco.com/2006bikes/bik...06bikes/bike_enlarged.php?lang=en&loc=rd&sloc=rec&tabloc=1&id=crdfour&col=black
I'm still very new to cycling but trying to learn all I can. Is this a good price? I'm a short woman, only 5ft, so it's been really difficult to shop in the used bike market. Also, all the bikes I have seen start at CDN $800 and up for a road bike.
This particular bike fits me pretty well and I have it for the next day to test ride it and it's so much better than the ancient $20 "bike" I currently ride. One of my concerns have been to keep up with my friends. I have been lagging far behind and I need a bike that will let me keep up a somewhat decent pace so I don;t slow them down that much.
Any advice?
